290 to 362 left
362 to 529 right
529 to 36 in Belleville left
36 to 949 right
949 to 1094 right
1094 to 109 @ new ulm left
109 to 1291 straight
1291 to 159 @ Fayettville left
159 to 71 near La grange right.
71 to 77 right
77 to 153 left
153 back to 71 right
71 thru bastrop to 969 right
969 to 35 in Austin

cover this route on mapquest.
it is not the fastest but it covers some of the best roads between here and there. very little traffic but for a few places and won't take THAT much longer to get there.
make sure u hit the roads
949
1291 from frelsburg to fayettville
153 outside of la grange is an awesome rd.
on 153 just before 71 again on your right is Buescher state park and park rd 1
tell them you are just passing thru to see the scenery and they MAY let you thru for free.
take it all the way thru bastrop state park then continue on when u get out.
good place to take off your helmet as the speed is only like 10 mph thru the park.
anyway good luck.
I will be taking this rte sometime next month or so also.
