Sooo tragic...I see this happend about 4months ago. Any progress on her killer? I know it wont bring her back, but it would be nice to findout her killer has to pay for his evil acts.

Well it's been about 8 months now and the detectives finally arrested a man (her x-boyfriend) yesterday who we think killed my sister and charged him with CAPITAL MURDER. That means no bail at all until his trail, witch will not be until at least next April. I'm not saying his name on here but if ya wana know pm me. There gona put it back on the news in the next couple of days to follow up on the story. He was also a rider here in the Houston area. I know some of ya on here wanted to know of any updates or progress on the case so here it is. I'll post more updates as I get them.

A routine security check of a north Houston business park Sunday turned up the body of a woman who was apparently shot while riding a motorcycle, police said.

A security guard found the body behind a 9-foot wooden fence at the Greenbriar North Service Center business complex on the 16000 block of Hedgecroft about 4:30 p.m.

Police found one gunshot wound.

The unidentified woman, whose feet still were on the motorcycle's pedals when she was found, appeared to be in her late 20s, police said.

Investigators have no witnesses or motive.

I am glad to hear that they have a suspect. Hopefully they will get a conviction and he will end up in Huntsville on death row.

HOUSTON -- A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a woman's shooting death, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Houston police said Vellar Clark, 31, shot and killed Gwen Sneed, 29, in the 16700 block of Hedgecroft Drive on March 26.

Officials said a security guard found Sneed near a loading dock. She was found near a motorcycle and was apparently there for several hours, police said.

Clark has been charged with capital murder. He is being held in the Harris County Jail without bond.

I will never understand why a person would hurt another person.
She looks familiar as I've been in the Copperfield/Bearcreek area for over ten years now.

I am very sorry for the family's loss and that she left a little girl behind. It is good to hear that they found the murderer. May she rest in peace.
