to the caste system question.. answer is sadly yes, to a certain extent. most of the urban or educated folks are cool, but for lot more uneducated types, country types, very much true.
but then, its just another form of discrimination. exists EVERYWHERE, somewhere as racism, somewhere as casteism, somewhere as religious fanaticism etc etc. not trying to be defensive about that, but out here too, many people are like them...like some country folks, or should i say rednecks, white supremists, racists ppl on this forum j/k etc etc
