Should be fine. Why the mismatch?

If you are doing track days AND planning on getting fast plus riding street there is no good answer, imo. Get ready to put a couple hundred bux back, per month, for tires.

Bt002rs is my suggestion.

i ran that exact match for my first 7 trackdays on an '02 R6...it worked pretty well for me...ran some intermediate low 1:50's at MSRH

*discalimer, that was a track only bike and tires...did not have any street miles on them

I rode on PP's for my first 2 trackdays on the GSXR....shortly after this incident I switched to Bridgestone BT002rs's and have had awesome results.

who you saying hi to?
j/k man. yeah i dont think ill out ride my rear. my 1st track day i used a 190 rear pilot power. and i liked those. it felt pretty good.

and i want to try to catch most of the ending RIDESMART track days and some of the others. (TTD and LSTD) ive only done 1 track day so im guessing these would be fine..

but im up for suggestions. ill try the bt002's next time.. thats a rear right? and should i use for the front?

320 installed for both tires. you can beat that with a stck if you wanted to. for tires aloone cycle gear have them for 330 plus they want 30 for each tire to be put on.. that would have came out to 390..

and i was also told it would be a better set up than reg. pilot powers front and back..

BT002rs = best bang for the buck....

it's an intermediate trackday/street tire. I run them because they are predictable, offer superb stickiness, and tire warmers are not needed. They are a multi-composite tire (I believe med sides/hard center). PM SCRC John on here....he has these things for like $200 + tax for a 120/180 set right now.

They usually run like 260 or 270 a set and he offers FREE mount and balance if you bring the wheels to him....he is at MANY of the local trackdays to get you taken care of as well.

see his thread here:
