The 1098 seemed sprung to stiff for my taste, and I honestly didn't feel like it had any more power then the 999.

the 1098 is a lot stiffer than the 999 with stock settings, i had mine adjusted to my weight and it felt completely different! And yes, the 1098 is faster and stronger than the 999 in any aspect.... my friend has the fila edition and couldn't keep up with me going through Crabb Rivers, my 1098 is in stock form, no upgrades at all!

And the problem with the black was that it's so exclusive. The paint stores couldn't reproduce it for me. And from doing some research on some of the duc forums, I found out that it would have to shipped in and be hella expensive
