loud pipes save lives.. it's one thing to sit and ride around your hood for a half hour with a loud bike. But just passing by, then can get the fck over it. There are better things to compain about.

To me it's the same kind of courtesy as when you live in an apartment, you don't blare your music at 6 in the morning or past 10 at night, don't walk around stomping, etc. You get the idea. It just depends on what kind of person you are. Pull over & ask the lesbians..."Is my exhaust too loud? I've noticed it seems you're giving me dirty looks." Call them out, maybe they are just & your isn't too loud. But if you're contemplating plugs for the first time, it may just be too loud. To each his own, however.
actually, i could have left the part about the lesbos out. fact of the matter is it annoyed myself. I never thought that there would come a day when i would think that an exhaust system would be too loud...

it was just way too loud.

when can i tap that?

Is it really that much louder than a Muzzy? I really don't remember ever getting dirty looks.

i believe it will be all different from bike to bike, but from my experience, this is the only bike that I have had to say was too loud for my own riding comfort.

even though I thought it was too loud, i loved the way it sounded with the spark arrestor removed. But it was just too loud.
