Please Send Beanie Babies! Thursday 7/30

Hello Everyone! Please help support our troops! I am sure we all know someone who is risking their lives overseas…

Recently one of my co-workers at NASA was called back to active duty and deployed to Iraq for the next two years. I received an email from him today asking for help regarding the following…

Please Send Beanie Babies!
No kidding! A really good excuse to get rid of those things (don't buy new ones, collect them from your house and ask your friends)!! Send some in every package to ALL units as they are really easy for the Soldiers to carry with them and give to the local kids who love them. These are better then small plastic toys which will break easily and are not as easy to carry in a pack. There is NO more effective ambassador for our country than a Soldier helping the local folks. This is done far more often then the press shows, and quite probably the most important thing a Soldier will ever do.

Please come out to Vito’s Deckhouse off I-45 on Thursday July 30th at 7:00PM with Beanie Babies (or other pocket sized stuffed animals) in hand! If you have any questions let me know!

Thank you all in advance for your help!!

Lets start a list if you can make it…

I have a lot I could get rid of. I would have to meet you somewhere though (I am working at that time and I don't live close to that area).
