Need help and ideas for making a ball mount for ram

RAM B 367U

Need to make something like this. RAM currently has no idea when they will have them and ship to me. Anyone have any ideas for making something similar. It's about a 1" (diameter) ball. I am trying to mount a set of gauges.

To see how it works:

not for Dodge ram...Ram mounting systems:

this is the gauge, wanting to mount them in my handlebar clamps on two different bikes (instead of using that mount on the right with a few hose clamps or zip ties):

Why can't you chop the base off of the ball, then drill and tap the ball. I have a few of them, they are pretty solid.

i need two made. this Veypor gauge goes between 2 bikes...and eventually probably more.

i could sacrifice this one, but I am still needing another.

if i can find those bungee locally I think I have this made.

Furthermore, these kits from Ram only cost $10 each, so I don't want to spend much on something that I could have with a little patience.

If you cannot get the bungees to work, I have an extra RAM mounting system that came with my TomTom rider II GPS system. I never used it since I made my own. It's here, I just need to look for it.

Got it done! a few tweaks need to be made, but it works quite well. It's not going anywhere.

$1.79 for 4 of those tarp tie downs.
