Mainly because by the time I read all the BS posts its too late.

Another thing is that to answer correctly would take a small novel on most answers. And then w/o handsigns and the occasional curse words, it just makes it too difficult.

leave it or make a private lounge for real stunt riders too...have the stunters lounge split with squids and stunt riders!

but then again like trackdays/racing you only get good buy asking questions and riding with people that are better then you

Originally I was going to vote leave it alone, since the racers and the TD'ers have similar experiences and the info shared could be of benefit to both sides.
Also some of them racers are TD'ers so it made sense to leave them as a single forum.

Now that I have read some of the derisive, surly comments I remember that racers like to think they are special.
As has been mentioned elsewhere, not everybody does TD's because they are wannabe racers, some of us do it because it's fun, exciting and we learn things about bike control that only a fool would try on the street.

So please, seperate us lowly TD'ers from the racers so they won't have to suffer through our mindless prattle and BS answers to questions only they have the answer for.

Remember their laps are timed and the get a shiny trophy at the end of the day.
Poor us, we only have fun with out the pressure to go faster than the rest.

Charlie..... Sounds like someone has a slight bit of slow bitchitus. Maybe a good racer can figure it out.

Honestly.....the forum needs to stay the same. Racers have good knowledge that TDer's don't have. Only because we put ourselves in faster paced or more harry situations in the pursuit of that shiny little trophy. And on the flip side, the TDer's can remind us that we started doing this for fun and enjoyment. The only problem I see is that hot rod TDer's with 3 days under their belt give advice like they know what they are doing and know what they are talking about that could possibly end up hurting someone else do to lack of experience.

Leave as is. There are not enough licensed and active racers to justify their own forum.

I know its slightly off the topic, but still related with the "racers lounge", it would be nice to have a section for the 1/8th 1/4 mile guys. It most likely wouldent be as active as some of the other sections, but I do know there are those big bike guys that would like to have a section to possibly talk about good supporting mods for "drag" applications, or technique on launches and what not. Just a thought

I beg to differ. I do both. And, I enjoy both. But, I guess I am a little different because I do both for the same reason.....to have fun.

Watch out boy, I was racing when you were jumping from one nut to the other trying to keep from being shot on a kleenex.

Yes, but they seem to be a little grumpy about sharing that knowledge. Maybe it's so hard to earn they are afraid their competition might benefit from it.

So give us our own forum so we don't interfere with the inciteful, well considered advice that only the racers have.

Yall track day guys just go race. You'll find out at the races that there are only about 10 people at the race that are super impressive. The rest are just like us...some a little faster some a little slower.

Save 1 grand and go do it.

Been there done that, don't wanna do it no more. I just wanna ride around and have a little fun.
Well, that and give out BS advice.
