.. I just got back yesterday. We floated the Comal cause it's flowing much better. The Guadalupe is freakishly low. People dragging tubes like crazy. Have fun!!

Go to the Comal 10x better than the Guadalupe right now.

I wanna say from the falls to the last public exit to us about 2.5 hours. Maybe closer to 3 in the latter part of the afternoon due to it being much more crowded. Some of the others that went with us might be able to comment, by that point my perception of time wasn't exactly at it's best.

It depends, but it took us about three hours. We just got an all day shuttle pass for $5 and did it twice- could have done it another time, but we waited around a couple of hours at the shute.

Saturday night karaoke! But I have to admit it was straight out of 'Deliverance'. A good ol' boys' camp, if you know what I mean.

We used a tube rental right across from the Park at the River. It was $16 for the tube and the all day shuttle- but I can't remember the name. I think there are three or four tube rental places on the comal.

The one we used was called Corner Tubes. Take your own cooler. Make sure it isn't over 16 quart. best bet would be to go somewhere and get those inflatable floating coolers with the zipper top. You can likely buy one at a sporting goods store for as much or less than it will cost you to rent a crappy cooler + tube for one day. I know that's what we will be getting next time.

I think it was called Corner Tubes

http://www.cornertubes.com/

Pyro beat me to it but I added the website.

+1 on getting the floating cooler
