THe Suzuki will by far be the most comfy. I don't know where you came up with Suzuki's build quility as being poor, but there put together much nicer than anything out there. Remember, GSXR's are built to race, they are very easy to work on, not like the over engineered Hondas

yeah i tested out a 1600? or was it 1800? vtx.. it was cool. i was going to give up on the sport bikes and go with a cruiser but nah... cbr1000rr... that reminds me.. i have to get back to allen so that he can fax me some paper work.. i guess i can do it monday. Well.. if u line up an r1 cbr1000rr zx10 and a gsxr and u take a seat on it and touch the fairings and go over the whole bike u will find out that the gsxr is loose and doesn't feel solid. all the other bikes are more solid. its hard to explain but yeah.... and its not bad to over engineer something.

I really like my 05 1000RR Repsol. I put 6500 miles on it in the first 12 months. All miles are back roads and track days. No complaints. Check out pics and videos at www.springsportbikes.com

I just sold my '04 1000rr and it was an awe inspiring machine indeed. They have addressed the few shortcomings of the '04-05 this year and it should be running at the top of the pack this year.
If your set on buying a litre bike, then that is the one I'd go with.

ive read that the 06 1krr is great. i have an 05 600rr and i love it. but im a honda guy. and to godsuki, the 600 and 1kRR's are race engineered bikes as well. they are not over engineered, they designed the 600 and 1kRR's after the motogp rc211v.

I'm a diehard Honda guy... but they are over engineered in a few aspects and the 600RR and 1000RR are not designed after the RC211V. Not by a longshot... they look the same, have similar swingarms and are designed around mass centralization (but every manufacturer is doing that now) but that's about it.
