06 cbr1000rr

There isn't much out there on the new 06 1000rr... What do you guys think? I am thinking about buying a new 06 CBR1000rr this weekend or Tuesday next week (their closed Mondays). From what I have read they seem like they are pretty good. I took out a 06 gsxr 1000 and it felt really nice and the power delivery is very smooth. I just dislike the way it looks. Iíve tried out the r1 but itís too pricey for what it is... I don't like how the zx10s look and thatís just about it. It seems like the build quality on the new gsxrs are very poor. r1's seems a bit more solid as far as the fairing and instruments goes. Please give me some valuable input and not say "Hondas suck... or Suzukiís suck..." Iíd like to have some logical input.

I think Honda of Houston is open on Mondays now. The 1000RR is a beautiful bike.

http://mysite.mweb.co.za/residents/clasqm/homepage.html

check out that website...It has articles about that bike and many many others.... really cool site.

The new 1000rr isnt all that changed but it is a much better bike i mean it has a slightly highe redline it weighs something like 18pounds less. and of cource its built very well...

Now dont expect it to have the punch of a gsxr1000 becouase it wont.

The kawasaki 06 10r is by far my fave supersport bike it was built to race the end....

but hey to eachi is own....

now how long have you been riding, take msf, tell racerx to shut up(all noobs do) and where a lid.

Ok im done.

I'll chime in, this is one of my riding buddies. He OWNED a CBR600F4i, til someonelse that was doing him a "favor" laid it down. He has babysat our buddies R1 on several occasions, and he hangs with me on the straights and leaves me in the twisty stuff.

Honda of Houston has one and it does look sweet, it had a manequin on it so I didn't try sitting on it. As far as Honda seats, I don't have a problem with my RC's seat but the reach/position of the clipons are a . I really get tired of riding it about 300 miles down the road.
