^^^that opens the closed system of the electrical system for the vehicle.

It works on older cars without electronics if you remove both cables and put them together without any loads on but the engine.

I wouldnt doubt removing the ground of the vehicle and opening a circuit wouldnt allow any electrical device to not work, including the computer.

I agree. I think that is standard on most new bikes. You cannot disconnect the battery and have it run strictly off of the generator. The circuit is broken that way.

Soooooo... i took the generator cover off (took me awhile bc i didn't know there was a hidden bolt) and...

Seriously? Is this normal for 21, miles? What causes this to happen? Btw I do have a PC3 and a retarded HID kit... could the HID kit cause this?
