Icon Pursuit Glove

I recently bought a pair of these. I like them a lot better than the Tour Master Cortech Gx Air Gloves I had but was disappointed when I saw this...

http://www.geareval.com/forums/sport...ve-review.html

Is that normal for a glove. Any better suggestions?

well on that note....

I would not think that this is "out of the ordinary." I didnt see datails of how he landed, how fast.... nadda
Might I tell you that if you go down your gear is only a "cushion." There is no gear that will protect you 100%. But GL with them!

some gloves (Ride Smart taichi and teknics) employ the scaphoid protection. It looks like he palmed down on the ground. Not normal wear through, but you want to make sure there is ample palm protection for a fall. I would spend as much money as you can on getting the best pair of gloves you can afford that are more than just a cover for your hands.

Leather can and will tear. I have a pair of $200 A* gloves that need to be fixed because my brother crashed on the track in them (he gave me them to get them fixed so I could use em). IMO, I would get something that got a more reputable name. I like the way ICON stuff looks but I have my doubts about how it will perform.

Those gloves suck! Look how thin is the leather and how bad is the design of the palm protection! Bad gloves!!! Lady Gaga should wear them in her videos but they are not for riders!
