so i just checked the tracking of my new gas tank and it should arrive this afternoon. has anyone ever swapped a fuel pump out before? it's for my '06 gixxer 1 theezy. would anyone be willing to lend me a hand? and do you advise me getting it painted first of after installing the pump?

im thinking install after paint. and ur pump is inside the tank? i would guess that it should just bolt on from the bottom if its inside the tank and you might need a gasket in good condition. the original one might work still. but id have to see it to know for sure.

i'm actually gonna take my time in replacing it. i need it painted gloss black and i'm gonna put a white anchor over the top before i mount it.(just like the relentless team) i'm not in a hurry to replace the red one. i like the dent/scratch.
