WoW Close Call almost went down

Hey guys so today My girlfriend and I were on my bike turning into the school parking lot In San Antonio yesterday. We were going to meet up my bike club and go out on just a normal ride. Well as we came up to this turn i have taken at least 50 times something different happened. My sv1000s slipped out on me bad. I took the turn and the bike drifted it basically. Once things slow motioned I put my right foot down and like dragged/pushed off the floor to keep my bike from sliding out. Theres a couple of crazy things happend. For one my girlfriend and I both thought about falling on this turn before we came up to it for some strange reason. I even slowed down on the turn but i guess the actions didn't matter because the bike slipped out. If i wasn't pre aware And big (im 6'5) so i could hold it up I would of with out a doubt fell (for the first time in 15k miles). Lucky We both had on our helmets and jackets... she had sandals Ouch....If something would of happen it would of sucked. Anyways I just wanted to let yall know that by even taking a turn everyday you still need to watch out. you never get to pick the time and date of when you fall... yall feel me.

Sorry for the confusion. It happen yesterday. I learn that you always have to pay attention and ride with as much gear as possible at any time. It was weird because I felt the feeling of going down but I saved it. So its like i got a piece of what happens but with the safety part of not dropping my bike ya know.

I absolutely know that feeling.... pucker is the right word, indeed. I came around a corner (Red Bluff turning right on Preston) and my end came out a schmidget.... it scared the be-jesus out of me and my brown hole did the "pucker"..... I accidentally kicked the leg out too, which caused me to loose more balance... but all in all, my lucky pulled out of it. Glad you saved it and your both ok.

I dont get how he seems to just accept this as a "it happens thing". There was gravel or something. There is a reason it was in the back of your mind that you may go down there.
