This is my old bike. He paid me much more for it than what he is selling it for. Here is my original ad from here...

http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...&highlight=fzr

I ended up keeping the extra sprockets that were listed in my MH ad. Don't knock the age, it is set up very well. I can't tell you what has happened since he bought it, but it was nice when I sold it to him. May be worth a look. I only sold it to fund the Bimota I bought, otherwise I would still have it.

I guess I should point out that I am assuming it is actually his ad and not someone scamming with an old pic from when it was posted. If it is Dan, he is a nice guy.

Ok. I would encourage you to look at it though. It is very well sorted and the suspension and brakes will surprise you. I spent more on upgrades on that bike than many I've had. It is a sweet handling bike with plenty of power.

Good luck with your search. That's half the fun of getting another bike. I will keep an eye out for other bikes that come along that might meet what you want.

+1 for the 599. I've never had one, but know people that do and they love them. I think they are very nice bikes. 2500 seems like a good deal if it is in nice shape.

yeah i really like that R6, but his is track so i would have to spend money to make it a street bike... or else i would have been all over that!

thanks guys for the links and posts. - I'm keeping them in mind.

but what do yall think about a 2003 R6 with ~25k miles for ~$3k?

Just saw this, I don't know the owner. I would ask why the decals are gone. I had a 1999 model and it was a very nice bike. I took the decals off mine, but a lot of times it means repaint.

I know of two good shops in CS if you want to have them check it out.
