Mobil 1 Synthetic. It's your baby - don't feed it . Give it the best.
I get my filters from Kawi dealer.

If you ask 10 different people you will get 10 different answers. Oils are a personal preference, and most people dont know squat about the basics of oil. Stay away from any oil that has a SM rating because it lacks the proper friction modifiers for a wet clutch. I have done alot of oil testing on the dyno and found that the two best oils are Castrol R4, and Yamalube. The Castrol would consistently gain 5% to 7% horsepower just from chainging to this oil, and the yamalube uses a high quality Ester, this helps the branch-chain polymers seek eachother out as the oil cools, this keeps the friction reducing quality of the oil working as the oil breaks down overtime ans through use.
As far as oil filters go, you cant go wrong with OEM.

It depends on the bike. Some engines "like" different brands and thickness. And as quoting Patrick from his maintenance workshop day:

"VFR owners can claim to run cat through their motors, I don't care, as long as you change it regularly. We use Motul here at the shop."

In truth, any motorcycle specific oil is fine.

For petroleum based oil I prefer Motul, for synthetic, Amsoil.

I've used the Hi Flow oil filters with good results. You can also use OEM, K&N, Amsoil, etc.
