Thumbs up My Cresson CMRA Race Thanks

Well guys...I had a really good time this weekend.

This was my 2nd ever road race and feel moderately satisfied with my results. I know I could have done better, particularly in the Formula 1 class....that was mine for the taking, but I almost crashed...no ...4 times in 1 lap and found myself in the grass twice. On ONE lap! I couldnt get myself back together, mentally, after that.

I ran 4 races and placed 9th, 4th, 3rd and 2nd. On the race that I finsihed 9th I started in like the 35th spot and left in the second wave. If I knew it was going to be like that I wouldnt have even entered. How in the can you catch the top 5 guys when you start that far behind?

Big thanks to you guys here, for your support.

And of course, Motocycles Unlimited. Patrick, Brandon and the gang always do a bang up job on my bike and answer all my questions, no matter how elementary they are. Thanks guys.

HUGE thanks to Dave Wonders and Ridesmart Motorcycle School. There is no substitute for seat time.

Thanks John at South Centerl Race Center for keeping me straight with the Bridgestone BT003's. I ran 4 races on 1 medium compound and turned my fastest lap in the 4th race, a 1:22:9 proving that they were still good to go.

And thanks Jimmy..I say it all the time, had he not got me to the track, I'd probably have killed myself on the streets.

And all the other guys that offer up kind and wise words. Yall know who you are.

Oh yea...and I need to quit smoking.
