You just had to have been there...

I will make this as short as possible...
I have been out of the scene for a bit due to financial issues but finally got a job in Dallas. Now back and ready to tear it up again bigger and badder than ever, and legal since finally getting my M endorsenent after 12 years of ridin dirty, I ventured out to what I have been told is the "hot spot." I really should have seen this coming... To my dismay I have relocated to the poser capitol of Texas. If you ever thought pp1 was bad...get a load of this. Instead of MV, Duc or insert brand new rediculously fast bike here with rider sporting $3500 leathers. (their "outfit" if you know what I mean) with maybe a week of street riding under his belt. You know the guy. Wobels into the parking lot. Nearly has an insurance claim trying to park, hops off and stands around waiting, wishing for someone to comment on his $25,000 garage ornament.
Well it gets much better than that. Instead of the high end bikes and unscuffed suits I am treated with frankensteinesque bikes that look like they were dredged from some river and no lid, flipflop wearing squids with studded armbands ( yes, no joke ) and tanktops with various clever slogans like "BIKES" and "RIDE or DIE." I expected such brazen disregard for personal safety to suggest mad riding skills and a stunting ability only reserved for the silver screen. No such luck. Seemingly, as if summoned by a higher power they mounted and wobbeled themselves out of the parking lot and down the freeway. It looked like a bunch of four yearolds with their training wheels just taken off.
Sorry for the rant.

I wish I could have taken a few shots. It's in Dallas off of 635. Most everyone seemed pretty cool. I just felt a bit out of place. I kept waiting to hear "Warriors...come out and playaaayaaa"
