Walked in there to see some bikes and the service was terrible... I was looking to buy a Triumph or one of their Gixxers cash but they never came around to ask if I needed help. I went to the back to buy gear for my girl and the salesmen were just lookin at us and laughing till i pulled out the cash. They shut up and immediately came to us and started to act nice... I then ignored them and walked out the store... Never going back, I don't ever really care about a little mark-up if its a good service but they had no service at all...

Update. Started discussing which bike to get with my wife (as the bike would be financed in HER name), and she asked for pictures. I obliged and was met with "um, no way am i financing something that looks like THAT". I was hurt, as i believe nekkids to be the most beautiful form of motorcycle . I asked her to please show me what she would like me to buy, and she grabs "Motorcyclist" and points at the Japanese 600's. I'm gonna head to Stubbs for something along those lines. Could anyone tell me what would be the best new 600 ? Oh yeah, i'm now considering doing trackdays next year and i'm gonna be putting serious miles on my new bike (my last bike had 16,000 miles on it from 2 years daily use, and no trips really past 300 miles away). But i will still heed the advice given to me on Duc and Triumph dealers (if i can persuade my wife to still go with my nekkids).

daytona 675. sexy and she will buy it. sexiest. and by far the most unique! and see sport rider where they compared them all. the kawi 09' made 108 horse to the wheel. the daytona made 107. daytona made way more torque than any of them. maybe i'm partial but you should be too. or the street triple r. really tho daytona all the way. lots of cool new features for the 09's. and not everyone and their mom rides one.

There are salesmen like that everywhere. I'm less familiar with motorcycles just because I'm so new to the scene, but I walk into a car dealership assuming that the salesmen aren't going to know about what they have. I really don't like dealing with salesmen much. I actually had an alright experience with eximport. Bought my bike from them, though probably a bit overpriced.

If you're looking to get a big 4 bike, Kawi took the title for best 09 model.

If anyone is gonna sell something, they should know their product.

This is over kill as tiatool already told you but I thought I would offer my 2 girly cents into the equation.....

George and I went trotting around bike shops last week, Lunsford's Honda had several Ducati's and we were greeted at the door and I found everyone there from parts, to sales to motorclothes to be really very helpful.

Brandon Goodwin was our "salesman" and I found him to be very well educated on near everything in that store.

Lunsford has some HUGE ripoffs...checked that place out before I bought mine...saw the price tags, took a closer look at the bikes and noticed tons of crash damage, crappy bodywork, and oil leaks...

Knowledgable is fine, but they r still bending u over

I bought my 09 Daytona 675 from Jim at British USA. Good people. Good place. Don't know if you'll get the very best price - but they will treat you the best.
