Not at Eximports...

Ignored through the door, walked around the place for a while till anybody even THOUGHT of approaching me. When i DID finally get a salesman, he knew absolutely nothing about any of the bikes in their inventory. Stayed around for a bit just to check out the Duc 1100 and the Speed Triple Ann. Ed. Does anyone know of a decent shop in or near Houston where i could purchase new Triumph or Ducati other than Eximports?

When i stated which Speed Triple, he went straight to a Street triple. I had to tilt my head to the side in confusion, trying to figure out if this guy was really that uninformed. Turns out he was

The only other Ducati dealer I found is Northwest Honda.

Never mind, Tiatool beat me to it.

most of them seem like that. Walked in to HoH about 18 months ago, with 8k, cash, rolled up in my pocket. Wasn't so much as greeted.

Walked out the door, drove to Kingwood, and bought the 1000RR, you see in my AV, from an individual.

i used to work there and it is where i bought my bike. there isnt much of a hook up. someone else will buy it. but he is knowledgeable and rides a triumph. he dose'nt mess around, he was bmw's top salesman in this region a few times now. tell him big mike that used to work there told you to come see him. he'll at least sell you a bike. it's a small place. old too. like 30 years i think. only vintage triumph shop i know of. lots of vintage stuff to check out. old airhead bmw's bsa's, nortons, guzzi's, rickman. go check it out.

I like the old, small places. Was originally going to buy a Speed from Engle Motors in Independence MO, but some stuff went down and i'm back down in TX again. Nothing better than working with dealers that want return customers.

definately wont get hooked up from Brittish Usa, but they are nice folks there, and the new showroom is pretty nice also. They had the anni speed triple there, but it was sold. Also the blue and white 675 which imo looks way better in the pictures...lol

+1 for British (if you're Triumph/BMW/etc shopping).

I think I dealt with Jim. I almost bought a Speed Trip before the 1kRR.

Oh, eximports.
