"If you want to lick dead smashed bugs off of your lips or have gravel, rocks, sand or whatever thrown in your face at hwy speeds good for you, but when i have to wait in traffic to have someone srape your head off of the road your just being a pain in the a$$, and for what? so you can look cool being a super squid? you have to ware a seatbelt in the car, but not a helment and driving gloves like you would on a track, why not put on a lid. not full leathers and track gear. laws are in place to protect us, and if you dont want to fine, you might have to pay a ticket but its still your choice. you dont like the helmet take your ticket or get a bicycle or car. want to feel the wind in your hair get a convirtable or roll your windows down, no one said you had to buy a bike."

Can you provide some freeway accidents where the cause and effort of the police were due to lack of helmet and not some other factor?

i can't think of the last time i had bugs smashed in my face or gravel thrown on me, or even sat in traffic on my 50. just becaus eyou only ride a big bike on the street doesn't mean that others don't ride in other ways where a helmet law could affect them

i clean dead bugs off my helmet just about every day, and i usualy have to flip my face cover down behind big trucks throwing rocks up at my head.
how much do you ride the 50 on the streets and not just stunting in the parking lot out outside the house, have you ever been stopped or seen a cop on the trip to get gas... you dont have to have a helmet on im saying safety first, if you get hit going across the street to get gas or whatever wouldn’t you rather your head be protected, and if your going to be on the road in traffic with cars wouldn’t you put on your helmet just like a big bike cuz its not about how fast your going its about how hard the cage hits you? Bicycle ride on the shoulder/sidewalk not in a lane with traffic. Street legal/street riding=helmet
