Question Can da Busa compete?

For all you bike experts, and professional track guys. How do you all think that a Busa would do on the track? Can the Busa even compete against lighter liters, 900's, 750's, and 600's?:icon_bigg

Oh yeah? I'll never stretch the Busa, because I don't want to take away from the performance. I hope that the Busa is lighter than my current bike. The old Cane is 572lbs. Someone let me know how heavy the Busa is.

Yep the 06. I have a feeling I should wait for the 07" Busa's. I have a strange feeling that the 07's will have a digit speedometer. ( Did I spell that right? ) Anyway remember this thread bro, remember I was one of the first, if not the first ( which I doubt ) to predict this.

+1 Before I get the Busa I will fix up the old Cane a little bit. ( Actually alot ), since I never will get the money back that I put into it, eventually I guess I will always have more than 1 bike, which is cool because my big brother is a deep sea diver ( one of if not the first respected Black diver ) and when he comes in town periodiclly guess which bike he will ride?

i would def wait for the 07's to see if thats what you like...i know they will change it cause of the kawasuki zx14...but like every new change of a bike..wait for the second year so if there is bugs they can work them out before the next...thats why i bought my 06;sounds dumb i guess but i just wanted to wait...make sure they didn't have some bullshit bugs
+1 Thanx bro. I think that is a good suggestion that I will follow. Do you have an idea when the new 07's will come out? Last question because I don't want to my own thread. ( I guess it's too late for that isn't it? ):laughing6 :laughing6 :laughing6 :laughing6 :laughing6 :laughing6 :laughing6

if your on a track i dont think the busa could corner with the lighter and qiucker 600's but in the straights it would be no contest. Braking after the straight would belong to the lighter and quicker bikes. They just brake alittle deeper and make the corner alot faster than a busa....But thats just IMO. I could be wrong..

That's cool. I was just curious about it's handling capabilities. When I do get the Busa I won't take it to the track to race anyway. I wouldn't do that the bike.

BigC maybe you should get a liter bike like a zx10 or gsxr1k. i know your a big guy but there are bigger guys that rock 600 or lower. look at this guy next to me last year and the bike he is rocking.

after you ride on the track once you will get hooked and be more into cruisng the streets and backroads. that can be done easily on any size bike.

Can da Busa compete?
