I think my frame slider may have done more bad than good in my wreck. The bolt that mounts it to the motor mount popped right out taking all the threads with it. I have to retap it and use a diff size bolt. Also, poorly designed frame sliders can do some serious damage too.

People will allways have an opinion on anything and everything. happens. everyone goes down, i almost went down doing 120 on memorial day in the forest, but thanks to being cool minded and being able to control my "600 which is 2 big of a bike for me" i was able to keep it up and pull it out. There are two kinds of riders, People who have crashed allready, and people who r going to crash. Its a matter of time. Im just glad ive gotten mine out of the way allready =]
Hahahaha.... well, just so you know... I wasn't ' ya. We've all been there. Which is why I said "at least you're cool about it"... and "Your Money, your Ride, your Life. Live it as you will. "

There's an exponential difference in available torque and power, from a 250, to a 600, to a 1k, especially when you're new.

Then, down the road, like me, you can look back with a laugh, and realize you knew more about nothing, than you thought you did about everything.

Anyway, what I'm saying is we're all (mostly) the same, in one way or another, and I'm no better... just take a look at my "early record": http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...6&postcount=29

Glad to see the only thing that got hurt was any ego accumulated over the past few months of riding. (Not trying to dog on you, but crashing makes you realize you need to be more cautious).

Gotta agree that a bike with less torque is more forgiving and this is the exact situation people talk of when they say the 600 is to much bike. None the less, your money and your bike.

Trust me.. This kid isn't too bad of a rider.. He has ridden a lot since he got his bike.. I've ridden over 8k miles sense I got my bike beg. Of December and he might ride more than me. It wasn't cause his bike has too much power for him ( cmon it's a Gsxr) or he's a squid..
