saw three can am trike spyders on 59

would any one on here feel comfortable riding this thing on the road?
three trikes brand new on 59, no one had gear on , i guess people think 3 wheels makes it safer, but handling on that thing looks horrible compared to 2 wheels

I honestly don't see what the attraction is with those things.
Nothing impresses me about them.

It's just a snowmobile with wheels. If I wanted a trike I'd get a t-rex.

Bike with a sidecar is ten times cooler and half the price.

She wears her gear when riding her Can Am. Though she said this may have been her last week with it. She rode that thing all over the Greater Houston area to M&Gs and trackdays. Mobile advertising.

I can tell you it's a blast...it does take some getting used to, but the flat turn better than you think, and smoke most all cars. I ride with the big boy bikes, and they all think it's cool. I win the wide tire award every were we go.I can't split lanes, but water cooled, I don't need to..traffic is ok..I don't need to put my feet down each time we stop....2.6 in the quarter is slow compaired to the crotch rockets, but at 700 pounds, it should be....the reverse is worth a lot more here as well....

They look pretty cool. I'm guessing the turning would feel weird.

My neighbor has one and has let me ride it a few times. They can turn quite well you just have to hang off really far. They are also good for picking up slimmies, curb monkeys, etc. I personally would not get one because the are 15k plus. But definitely much cooler than the traditional trike for long trips and passengers.

Well...you wouldn't need frame sliders for that thing.

I'd rather rock a T-rex however.

I think they are very cool and Tasha rides the wheels off of hers, Lisa is gonna get one and I feel she would be much safer on it than a bike, and cant really compare to the trex I believe it is about 3 times the price, we are saving for one now, was gonna get the flat black phantom but I think she wants the red one now

He's looking for possibly selling his to get back on two wheels. I'll ask him if interested. I know its got low miles and the aftermarket lights and seat w/ backrest.
