Home safe. A bit tired and exhausted from the heat, but it was all good. Had fun, and I really missed those Yankee's burgers.

Got some pics on my camera will post them in a few.

Yeah that was a close one. I know you were getting nervous when we passed the couple of trashy stations.

I kept pondering if I should just turn into one of those but like you said, it might be crusty "gas". Good call. Thanks for leading the way home.

She did - thanks! When she saw you and other ladies riding in the group, she started dropping hints about wanting a bike instead of a car when she's older.

Don't do it. My mom once told me only women of questionable moral fiber ride motorcycles.

At least that's what I think she said. It was hard to hear over the rumble of her Harley.

Try shifting at a higher RPM and see if that helps. I remember that the 250 I had would do the same thing sometimes if I shifted 1>2 at a slow RPM, and then when I rolled on the throttle it would pop out. Shifting at around 6-7k seemed to be the smoothest. Another thing that helped me was adjusting the linkage and lowering the shifter arm by about 1/4" or so.

It was cool riding back with you - call me next time you wanna go out riding.

Fake gorillas and Santas on motorcycles?! Sounds like the heat got to you and you started seeing things.
