As far as the gp bikes are concerned, supposedly the duc has a really rigid frame and the engine is a little less taimed compared to the others. This is just what i have read. Casey Stoner has no problem riding the pants off it.

They weren't talking about Ducatis in general, but the Ducati MotoGP bike. They are unique to MotoGP and not found anywhere else.

The only person able to ride the bike successfully so far is Casey Stoner.

Everybody else has had near career ending miserable seasons trying to ride it.

The only exception is Loris Capirossi who won races on it and seemed headed toward a championship in 2k6, but that was on the previous 990 bike, not the current 800.

these prototype bikes are not even remotely close to what we are used to riding... be it a yamaha, honda, or ducati. Usually the factory teams do all the development of a motorcycle using their main rider as an analyzer on different technical aspects of the motorcycle, once they get this critical input from him they tune the bike so that he can reach levels of comfort and confidence to attain his full potential and maximize the amount of victories and points obtained. Hence they say that the bike can only be ridden properly by Stoner.

Like jcat said.. Stoner has some mystery illness that's affected him for the last 3 races now. It leaves him totally spent and dehydrated. Kinda scary actually.

He does however still go out and set the fastest lap in nearly every session though.

Jay Cutler had issues like these as well (QB for Bears, formerly of Broncos)... Turns out, he is diabetic. I wonder if Stoner has been checked.

Weird.

Yeah, he's been checked. They didn't find anything obvious and sorta hoped it would just go away on it's own, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

He's staying in the US to be checked out some more by Dr Ting..

Funny, I thought Ting was just a fixer of broken bones since that's usually when they go see him.

I rode my friend's Ducati once and found it extremely uncomfortable for street riding. It definitely is designed for racing. Saddle comfort is low priority. Footpegs, handle bars etc. are set up more for racing position.

That's not what they/we are talking about. That's different.

Maybe if he took Jeremy Burgess with him.. Between the two of them and the Ducati engineers, they could develop that bike into something sweet for sure.

It is all the crying and whining he does in his helmet. Ill never be as good as Rossi. the other riders are mean to me, and don't speak english I don't get all the attention. Unsafe passing

Actually they ride the street pretty often. Pedrosa has been seen all over town on the bike.
