My two Cents

i dont usually post around here, lemme rephrase that, i havent. I just want to give props to you gentlemen and ladies. Faith is an amazing thing to profess. And for me, that is the biggest step because i havent made it yet.

I thought i was such a hardass, raised catholic, and questioned everything, bitter because i had this huge burden on my shoulders i didnt beleive i should have beared. But as a got older i realized that things have to happen so you can have the stregth to carry on. Man, i thought i was so hard. I hated sunday school because, i wanted to learn, i wanted someone to prove to me there was a . and i all this bullshit about sunday school, i just hated. We went to a retreat, and i hate happy go lucky singing about christ, it creeps me out. I prefer hymns and such, but i couldnt deny that was there. A few spriritual exercises, and i broke down, because i felt something tugging at my arrogance.

I think about , everyday, not in a praise the lord, but the thought of comes by every day. and slowly, sluggishly slow, im working towards that relationship. I am still very arrogant. I cant go around and profess to everyone about Jesus. Because, im still not very comfortable with it at all. and thats my barrier between and Jesus, is i cant lower myself under him. and i know that.

Anyways.. i was thinking, why, among all the places would i feel the need to say anything here, when i havent said anything about anything on this site. but i had the urge

i have been having the BEST sleep and mornings and its driving me mad because im so happy, even though my grades at school are so low, but i feel this incredible hope that everything will be ok, i feel at peace even though this semester is practically in the shithole, not to say i will fail, but man, scraping by with Cs again.

and i couldnt find the answer until now. I honestly accepted that i was failing myself, and that i would try my best to salvage it. And was there for the ride, and the thing is, i didnt ask. for the first time i didnt ask why, or for help but it came.

So this thread just had to be read this morning, when i was feeling fabulous. and i had to just go on and on and on about myself.. when any of you hardly know me. so i guess this is my introduction to the site, the big introduction to say. YES i am a Christian. because this would be the first outlet.

HAHA. sorry for whoring it out. but thanks for reeaading =)
getting back to work.. and coffee

hey believe me when i say this thread has in the least, brought the word of to the minds and hearts of all who read the posts. Is it me or are all the pro - Christian on the defense? And just cause your religious doesnt mean Christian in faith. I understand that. Its not that the non believing posters only seemed to mock Christianity. There were no evil Koran links or Mass murder of Hindi facts but if looked for I'm sure someone has something posted on the modern age tube thats called the net.they are there as well. only Christianity was attacked and I'm not suprised. Am I wrong about that. Did any Muslim post anything ? Any Buhddist? I only have faith in what i have read and been taught. I dont take the bible and apply it literally . Its truths reveal themselves to everyone in a different way. What is faith?

The word faith has various uses; its central meaning is similar to "belief", "trust" or "confidence", but unlike these terms, "faith" tends to imply a transpersonal rather than interpersonal relationship – with or a higher power. The object of faith can be a person (or even an inanimate object or state of affairs) or a proposition (or body of propositions, such as a religious credo). In each case, however, the faithful subject's faith is in an aspect of the object that cannot be logically proven or objectively known. Faith can also be defined as accepting as true something which one has been told by someone who is believed to be trustworthy. In its proper sense faith means trusting the word of another.
I was taught faith and lost it. But I was lucky enough to have been given it back by the complex/simple act of unselfish love.
