Elaborate a little more if you want help. What mods do you have?

Does it do it right when you pull in the clutch as you come to the light?
After sitting at the light for 5 minutes?
Does it start right back up?

my bad man..new at this......I have no mods. I can be sitting at the light for 30 secs. It starts right back up. It will happen when i pull the clutch in or when I am in neutral at the light for a short period of time.

+1 sounds like a sensor if it shuts off while idling, but then starts right back up with no problem.

It sounds like to me it may be an low idle issue. It should be idling around 1200-1300rpms. Check that first

flux capacitor
beside the muffler bearings, you will need a left handed screw driver for this install.

there hasnt been a sure fix for this yet...mine started out doing what urs is and not will hardly idle on its own...some say its the battery, some says its throttle position sensor, some say its a temp sensor...but nobody knows for sure.

yamaha is rebuilding brandons engine and machining valves, may be what urs needs, or it could be as simple as flushing the fuel system.

What does it idle at?

If you check your emission label it should say 1250 +/- 100rpm or so...

Temp changes bring idle problems.

Ok..check this...my bike stalled on me again today...It happened as I was slowing down and going from 2-1 gear. Any suggestions on what the problem might be...do the same suggestions as above apply.

Yo evobusa: I tried to PM you but your PM limit has been meet. You may want to check into that. Where/How on my bike can I adjust my RPM/idle?

Thanks

there should be an idle adjustment screw somewhere on either the left or right side of the throttlebodies.....on my GSXR its on the left hand side, big gold screw. not sure on the R6
