Please keep praying for Mr. Keener still no changes and my brother, sister in law and neice are leaving in a couple hours to start driving to Colorado. Please keep them all in your thoughts especially over the next several days as they travel there and at some point back and as final things are decided on for Mr. Keener. Last I heard they were giving him until Friday! Again, the entire family and friends wants to thank all of MH for all the thoughts and prayers. I found out he had gone to the Firefighter Memorial in Colorado Springs for a big deal the celebrate and was returning home when he came upon the gravel and lost control. Also thank you for the numerous PM's I have been copying and sending this to my sister in law who has been sending it on to the rest of the family. They have been including it to his wall in his hospital room with other cards! Thank you again!

Thank you for all ur thoughts and prayers!! Mr. Keener woke up today!!! He is on a ventilator and has a C1 and C2 break like Christopher Reeves. Pls continue to pray for Mr. Keener and the rest of the family. He has a long road ahead of him but thankfully he made the most important first step when the doctors gave him no chance!

Way to to go Mr. Keener!!!

My brother said u can tell he wants to talk and they are looking at making him be able to breathe through his neck. All he can do is move his eyes right now. Isa long as things continue to improve then they will move him to a rehab in few weeks. Mr. Keeners family thanks everyone again. They have been reading cards and other hopefully wishes including this to him since he opened his eyes. My brother said when his girl told her dad who wrote this his eyes squinted and his mouth moved. They said it looked like he tried to smile!

Wow, when I hear stories like this, it makes me reflect on my own situation I had. You can read about it on www.bdmpastx.com Its a good read or so I'm told. It lets you know when you are in those times, there is light at the end of the tunnel. I wish him and his family all their best. C1, C2 is a difficult and complicated injury. I hope he is able to recover some functions below his level of injury.
