A rider binned it in the horseshoe. One of 3 incidents for the day, none of which yielded any injuries (thank ).

Our instructors will stop and render some aide and help out until the crash truck can get there or EMS if they're needed, so the folks you see walking about are actually getting back to their bikes after the incident and the rider is on the far left walking back to his bike after Ronnie pushed it out of the impact zone.

Absolutely, it was great to see you out there! Make good use of that license next year, and congrats!

I really enjoyed this season, and next year is going to be even better as we keep raising the bar.

Actually I didnt wreck in the horeshoe it was the exit of 8a coming down the straight just as the bike straigtened a weird thing happened...............lowsided for no apparent reason without giving any warning and I had done the same thing 50 times before that day with great results. I set a personal best as far as lap time so I consider it a good day cause the damage to the bike wasnt bad

Oops, I must have been thinking of the other dude that crashed there I guess

Glad you're alright, and I can certainly understand the deal about doing the same thing as every other lap and tossing the bike! Happened to me a couple times as well.

Good thing the wall is gone now eh?

I don't know where you went off exactly, but toward the end of the day, I was sliding a bit on the "seam" in 8a. You know, the part of the seam that has deteriorated? Anyway, once I started stepping out there, I started taking it more slowly through there because that turn still spooks me.

thanks to LSTD and CMRA for welcoming me! I had a rough start to my First Race Weekend. Friday afternoon I finally was able to take a breathe and clear my head and go ride. Gabe thanks for telling me to get it together or im gonna crash! lol Just needed a breather!

Tom i agree there is nothing similiar when speaking of track days and race weekends! It is a different feel. Those fast guys at all the track days aint so fast all of a sudden! I plan on writing up soemthing about my first weekend!

Senior Turner and Dean, no problem. This racing stuff really is one of the best ways to waste your money And Dean thanks for picking me up during the endurance race. I appreciate the help...even if I dont remember it

Yea I was talkin to Brandon later that day when I dropped off my bike for repairs at Motorcycles Unlimited and he reminded me how lucky I was that the tire wall was gone. Was there any other pics from the rest of the day? I put my elbow down in the horseshoe area.

I don't know, check the thread in our section titled "TWS (Texas World Speedway) pics 10-17" or something. Ah heck, here's the link, that's just easier!

I have some photos of some of you from racing on Sunday out of my corner station 11. The photos are just with a little pocket sized point and shoot camera, but they are photos nonetheless. I'll try to have them up in their own thread this evening.

Think I have the following: Dustin, Fabian, Tony, Irish, Alonzo, then some of Ricky, Ty, and so on.

Overall, some awesome racing and a few good saves over near my corner station. I didn't see Irish go down, but I hope the hand isn't too bad along with the bike.
