thats awesome mr d! its amazing how much people dont pay attention to each other, and a blessing when someone does. although i dont have a bike yet, i cant tell you how many times i got stranded on the freeway with car trouble, and no one helped me out. it sucks. i have to be more careful in who i stop to help, seeing as im a chick and defenseless lol. i ALWAYS stop for accidents tho. ever since i learned first response stuff, i feel obligated to do what i can.

Seriously... Be careful. Could tell you plenty of stories when women tried to do the right thing and got messed up.

very nice story...
i did the same thing last time i saw a bike on the side of the road on my way back from work.

bike on the side with the guy pushing the bike, then i stop by and see he had a flat, well........i just got a compressor and tire repair kit just for days like this.

got behind him, put my hazers on (one way traffic) plug his tire and put some air.

to me it always fells good to help people out. (even if is 100+ 'f outside and hot )

is always watching us.
Well said .

Mr. D,

Thank you for helping another biker out. If my bike broke down on the road I certainly would wish I can meet someone like you.

Mr. D, Much love and props go out to you sir !
I know a lot of people that wouldn't stop to help out their "fellow" biker buddies.
I know from now on if I see a biker in need, I will indeed help out!!
Thanks also for helping that guy NOT becoming another fatality!

Lol. Thanks guys. Just did what we all think about. I'm sure you want to help out but we somehow convince ourselves otherwise.

Just forget about being late to whatever you are going to and consider helping a friend. You would want someone to do the same for you.

Especially that part of the BWY 8 feeder - I believe it has curbs to the outside of the lanes so there's no way to get off the road.

I didn't mean try to sell the dude something.
Just can't think of a better place where riders help riders everyday.
I tell every rider I meet.

Oh I completely understand. I have seen random people at a gas station and handed them a motohouston sticker. That or they asked me about my shirt.

I wear the thing religiously haha.
