If you find a decent pizza place let me know! There is one off Dairy Ashford and I-10 that used to have good eats, but its always packed and has a small lot.

There's a great pizza joint in central... Romano's Flying Pizza on West Gray. Great guys from NYC. Problem is, they're too expensive. I go there as 2nd option if I can't make it out to Brothers.

yeah, I saw the one about Brothers... tried it a while back but wasn't impressed. .. my style is the old Godfathers type. The Pizza Factory wasn't bad but they closed the one by me. Used to be a little hole in the wall in the Montrose but they closed that down too.

Guess that's our mission Dave, to find a great pizza place central!!!!!

That's very nice of you Jeff and a of an offer. I was out there with a few of us from here on MH a couple of months back. The food was fantastic, the service was top notch, the prices are good and I've been telling everyone I know to check your place out. I will be coming back soon tho, that's a guarantee.

If NY pizza aint your style, then try this place:

Nick's Place Italian Bar and Restaurant
Nick Rinchiuso is the owner. His whole family is very close friends with my family from back in Jersey since I was a baby. His mother is my Godmother. They really are family, and not just your a great customer we love you kinda family, but we're really like family family. But the reason I suggest Nick's is not so much that, as it is this...

His pizza isn't much like the pizza from Jersey. I know it... He knows it. I asked him one day, with a Jersey attitude... "Hey Nick, why don't you make real pizza like what we grew up on? You keep sayin how much you love and miss NY pizza, yet you got your own restaurant and you can just make it yourself?! I don't get it?!!"

His answer was "Hey Rob, this is a business. And the guys over here... they swear by my pizza. They love it. I got customers who come here from miles away just to eat my pizza. They swear I got the best pizza in town. So I got no reason to change it."

With that said, you oughto go try it, cause you may just like it.
Here you go: http://www.nicksplacehouston.com/

Not me, though. I grew up on NY style pizza, and to me, it's the only way to go. Brothers Pizzeria FTW!!!
