Drop down helmet shades???

Is HJC the only manufacturer of the drop down internal shade... I'm looking for a new helmet & really like this feature, but can't find any other brands with this option. Also, anyone have a Rocket yet, I tried one on today and it fit really really nice... gonna be a hard decision. I really like the drop shades but the HJC didn't feel anything like the Rocket did.

Yeah, he's atlking about the tinted visor you can put down.

As Roger said, Scorpion makes a helmet like that, the EXO-1000.

schuberth makes some too...but they tend to be heavy and expensive. Man I loved that shade though.

I've got a setup like this and love it.

8369664582854036b5541217f98832a9

Hyperoptiks purchased from cycle gear for around $30. They tint in the sun and remain clear at night.

Best purchase under $40 other than my suspension setups from Motorcycles Unlimited.

My understanding is that the HJC is still not DOT or Snell certified thanks to the shades. I don't think it'd be a problem as fighter pilots have the same setup in their helmets, but I figured I'd offer the info anyway.

I wear the Scorpion Exo 1000. Has the flip-down sunshade, DOT and Snell certified I think. Great helmet, recommended.

I've got the EXO-1000. Nice fit, but the internal shade is not low enough. Don't get me wrong it works, just would be better lower. The internal air bladder is nice to make it cutom fit. Pump it up!

I have an exo 1000 too, would highly recommend them I love the way mine fits but I will agree that the built in shade is not quite low enough and is not quite dark enough, wish they had darker replacements
