I don't even know how much snow we got this year.
This is outside the window from our office at home.
It might give you some sort of idea.
I think it's snowing again...

I borrowed the helmet from another girl.

So those ice tires must really grip? Do you have to wear special shoes in order to not slide? I just don't see how those bikes don't slide all over the place, guiess i would have to ride one to find out on ice

Oh, they slide.
But you can ride out most the time.
Just have to apply different style of riding.

Motocross boots work fine.
If you don't have motocross boots, anything can keep your feet warm and protect your ankles work, too.
I was wearing snowboarding boots and it was not easy to feel the shifter, but they did their job.

This is also what another rider wrote about ice riding.

Quote:
Ice riding is a lot like motard riding without the jumps. You can back it in and use the throttle to help the bike turn. The nice thing is that the ice wears out not the tires so once you get your tires you don't really have to replace anything on the bike for a while. You just have to make sure the screws don't get ripped out and that they stay in the proper orientation. Other than the cold and the bikes being a pain in the a$$ to start it's a lot of fun and something to do during the winter months.

LoL, that is where I grew up, I don't miss it one bit. I left at 18 when I joined the Marines, came to Houston in 97. I have no interest to go back there, the snow, frozen lakes are fun, but you can keep the cold!

Was that you that blew that turn right into oncoming traffic on the second to last vid?
Those guys are getting some mad lean angles. Looks fun for sure.
I was watching Survivor man and he said you want to avoid sweating as it will cause you to freeze once you start cooling down careful.

take care and stay warm!

I'm not in the video.
I was the one who shot, dork!

Turned out that guy on TTR125 (#52) is Robert Jensen who does something like Ty Howard does (goes around and collects all the contingency money).
Just in much bigger scale.
I think he holds quite a few track records around the country.
No wonder that man was going around and around others.

Robert Jensen

There also was a female AMA racer name Rihanna (might spelled her name wrong).
Don't know her full name, which team she rides for, class, etc...
But she also was moving around pretty quick on 250 and 450.

Here's his own site.

Robert Jensen's Website

Yeah.
When those guys were out racing/riding/goofing around, I didn't even bother to get close (the other guy was CRA expert #1 and he was last of the pack!).
I felt like I was gonna get run over like a roadkill.

This was a little pond in Chaffee, ND.
I think it's either Robert Jensen's or his family member's.
