Looking for motorcycle crate

Hey guys, i know a few of you work in a dealership or have access to it. What do you do with the crates after you unload the bikes out of them? if you throw it away can i have one? i need it to ship a bike.

Take a ride to the local dealers and ask them. Might get lucky. You can even call around to save the drive...

yea they provide container but if you use your own its cheaper.

they probably recycle them... i know businesses do this with plain pallets i imagine a crate being worth a lot more..


i have no idea though

what size bike? most of the kawi crates are bike specific. . .and most of the bikes are only 75% assembled. I'll keep an eye out for a crate tomorrow.

The crates we use arnt like the ones in that link.. The crates we get from honda of america have to be returned. The metal crates that come from japan are thrown away, like this one..

they're aluminum, can be bent pretty easily... when do you need it?

lol they dont suck but they're not super strong, but they can ship a cbr from japan without a hitch.. most of the time..

I'll save one when we build another, but we have to sell a cbr to get an empty crate for ya lol... might be a couple days

Rather than toss em you could recycle em, Make some money, but then you gotta put time and effort into play. Might not be worth it?

kawasaki uses the same crates for most of their motorcycles. I'll keep an eye out for ya at the shop
