I read an article on USA Today and the driver who hit the motorcyclist was DUI and has a Hispanic name.

R.I.P. to the riders.
The Dodge driver that swerved into oncoming traffic is negligent period, the alcohol will only amplify the charges....
Whata waste of life.

True or not, that's yet another ruined life ( the driver of the Avenger). Imagining living with the face that u ran into and killed multiple ppl, regardless of swerving, avoiding, etc.

these are the things that limit me to only riding a few times a week. they are far and few between, but freaking terrifying

Moral of the story?

Beat the out of everyone at the scene, or take all their keys out of their cars. So they cant run. I made that mistake once.

why would you(or CHP) want to find the honda civic that car wasn't involved in the collision and the driver bears no legal responsibility to stop and render aid nor give insurance information oir anything else. is the driver a dumbass dipshit asswhipe fuckwad? yes but that still doesn't make him(her) legally responsible for any part of the collision.

I know that you're experienced with this kind of stuff so you may very well know more on the legalities than us - but let's ASSume he crossed a double yellow to pass and then causd the accident - he could then share responsibility.

He wouldn't necessarily have to make contact with any vehicle involved to share blame.

well mr officer, why is then that its never used as a reason to keep someone from paying when the collision was "caused" by a vehicle that wasn't actually involved in the collision? and why the was my truck destroyed because some passed me causing another vehicle to swerve and hit me and when the license number of the passing vehicle was given to the cop he asked did that vehicle touch either of the vehicles that were in the collision, both of us said no and the cop said well it doesn't make any difference that that person passed you all, it was your fault and we aren't gonna ticket him cause of it , hmmmm??????

Did he swerve to hit the bikes because he might have been drinking or because he was an illegal or both?

No.

He swerved because he's a liberal.

He hit the brakes because he's illegal.

He was drinking as a result of both.
