same thing happened to me 3 years ago. scary feeling huh? I had full gear on too and walked away with a bruised foot. glad you walked away from the accident. not everyone is as fortunate.

had full gear from head to toe, even wore my padded undies cause nothing else was clean this morning, not even a scratch (everyone wear your gear it might just save your a$$, im a believer its dress for the crash).

If your undies weren't padded before, they would be naturally "padded" after an incident like that!

yeah we both had ins and he was a fellow motorcycle rider as well. he said we was looking behind him to try and spot the emergency vehicle and switched lanes to get out of the way when he turned to look forward POW i was toast. nice guy very apologetic even tho i didn't want to hear it

that's good news!!!

I heard of this happening to another rider on a harley..... he lost both legs, so definately glad ur ok AND the guy stopped and had insurance. Coulda BEEN so much worse.

thanks for the show of care from all of you, im just very glad i walked away from this and all that was broken was the bike. not a lot of people can say that. someone was defiantly looking out for me.

im dragging her to the shop in the morning and ill be riding something again soon. i really hope it looks worse than it really is and ill have my baby back if not ill hunt something else down.
