I'll give it a +1 for intuition. The way it slips up is pretty funny.

looks to me that because of the angle, the initial mounting point when the plate is down isn't even legal..

Like the video says, its his 'fake plate' and he should have his license back soon.

doesn't sound like the kind of rider I'd want to spend much time on the road with

Says the person with an avatar, presumably of them self, dragging knee on a public roadway?

yeah.. its me... And I wasn't speeding. While the laws in that state are somewhat slighted against motorcycles in certain aspects, there's nothing in the books about dragging knees

granted...while the tires were on the right side of the road there were portions of my body that crossed the yellow line... but thats about it from a legality standpoint.

Body position looks a bit exaggerated anyway. But your telling me you wouldn't go all the way out to deals gap and get low? I know I would

It was... I was on a borrowed bike.. Mine was still here in TX. That bike is owned by the guy that runs the Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort. The exagerated body position was to adjust for the fact that his tires were ****ing shot and had nothin left in them.. the front tire was sliding and felt like it was about to tuck in that pic.

that wsa the only reason for the different than normal position. And going all out at the gap?? hardly. just gettin used to the bike. first time on a cbr1k. I think I can safely say that i've logged more seat time at deals gap than anyone in Texas.
