2001 Suzuki Bandit 1200s

Hello, anyone from Woodlands/Spring area....

Howdy gents! I'm not currently a Texan but was referred here by a Texan on Two Wheeled Texans.

Have you ever seen this 2001 Suzuki Bandit 1200S ???

Hello, anyone from Woodlands/Spring area....

Hello, anyone from Woodlands/Spring area....

Bought the B12s back in April at a dealership in Spring (woodlands) TX by the name of C&C Cycles. Bike was there on consignment. Never got the name of the PO. Dealer gave me a nice bill of sale and off I go back to MS. Week went by and no title. Gave the dealer a call and got voice mail. I continued this for a week then finally the voice mail was full.

Filed a complaint with the TX DOT. They determined that they couldn't locate the dealer and that he had closed up shop and left. They did revoke his license and levy fines against it if he ever tries to get another license in TX.

Was told I'd have to file for a Bonded Title or locate the PO and get them to get me a copy of the title. Bike wasn't stolen as the TX DOT investigator confirmed, as well as my insurance company. Just need to find the PO. Some sort of Privacy laws prevent them from giving me the name of the PO

They suggested I fill out another form, mail it in with a check for $2.75 and wait. Being in MS precludes me from going straight to the regional office in Houston. Trying to speed up the process...

As said it's a 2001 B12s in red, with Troy Lee Design rocket decals on the bike. Anyone see this bike before??? Know the PO???

Thanks,
Nate

Welcome to the area!!! Im always riddin' around!

The owner of C and C moved back to California due to family issues with the health of his mom. I highly doubt it, but vmaxgirl may have some contact info if anyone.

If you wanna ride we're always out and about!

I'm hoping to be heading through TX next year en route to the grand canyon (fingers crossed).

Lots of good memories of TX from the military. Oddly enough I don't think i ever saw one ugly girl from TX.

Man i gotta move to TX

For those interested, I did make contact with Rob on wed. Said he was going to find the title and get it to me. Haven't heard from him since, and have left a couple of voice mails. Keeping my fingers crossed...

****Update****

Got my title in the mail today.

I can't thank the folks here at Moto Houston enough for the help that led to me getting my title back. If any of you end up around Gulfport, MS the first round is on me!
