Remember, when people see a repainted bike for sale they automatically assume 'wreck' Just something to consider.

If I were to redo my marble, I'd go w a pearl white.

By all means, I dont mean to rain on your parade; my bike has a marble paint that is losing the top translucent layer as the bike goes down over time lol... but that's how I got 2k off my bike when purchased.

What about cheap plastics from ebay?

get those painted and find an extra tank if the colors vary that much...

should be able to find a set fairly inexpensive from overseas

i believe whoever painted your bike didnt do a good job, the place i mentioned knows there and therre dont fade, ive got some bikes that had plastics painted from mako lol and they did the same thing, i have bought a set of hong kongs fairings and they look good but if you stunt your bike i wouldnt recomend them, the tabs are weak, i had 2 broke alreay when i removed them from the box

not 100 % but i dont think they would, i had a 06 gsxr 1000 with them and all the mounts on the tail broke and the guy just dropped the bike going like 5 mph...and there really not that flimsy and are pretty close to o.e.m thickness, or atleast the ones i got wer

i would definately look at a set of plastics and tank. paint it and save the factory paint job. Bubble wrap them and save them
