looked at the report today. There were no witnesses to the actual accident but one driver did see him traveling at a high rate of speed then exit the freeway. By the time the witness took the same exit he saw the rider on the ground and called police. Apparently he hit a curb when exiting the freeway, the bike went on its left side, and hit something else. I can't remember exactly, I just briefly looked at it. Was dead at the scene. Sorry to hear about your friend.

I don't think another vehicle was involved. Report said m/c - fixed object - fixed object.

With no witnesses, I guess we'll never really know why or how it happened. But I'm sure if another vehicle was involved, they'll find that evidence on the bike. Prayers to his family and friends.
