as for everything else...at least my pov...im not "complaining" about the officer being there for whatever reason (i.e. pulling someone over or running plates and vins) my complaint is how he just picks a guy out of crowd that had nothing to do with the illegal u-turn. ya he shoulda had his taken care of but still
Well, guilt by association, at that point the REAL offender should have come out and said, office it was ME. But again I was not there and i don't know if he did. And by the rest of the crowd saying he is innocent that doesn't count because you all can be lying for the guy that did commit the u-turn. I am not bashing on you or the riders, I am just saying what the cop was probably thinking.

Apparently I was misinformed, thanks.

I had a form filled out and ready to be sent sitting on my desk for two years. What is the point of having an exempt sticker and I am always wearing one?:dontknow:

That's my plan too. It's only $5, why not have it??

Learn the laws people and quit whining when you get caught if your not playing the game right.

Or if I ever have to pick up my wife and I don't have an extra helmet (I'd give it to her). I have bad luck so I'd probably get pulled over the same day.

^Granted this would be an emergency only situation.

good point but another side to this is if your bike get stolen and the thief didn't have a lid and got pulled over.
Sometimes, it's good to have that sticker but that would only make me lazy to wear the helmet.

was thinking that u do not have to have the sticker to keep from getting the ticket, just have to prove that u have the minimum amount of insurance if they do stop you.

lol...you dont have to have the sticker per say...prove that you either have the insurance or have completed the motorcycle safety course BUT most cops dont know about sticker let alone the requirements...in the 3 years/40+ thousands miles that i have been riding only ONE cop has pulled me over for no helmet AND mentioned the sticker
