Great story, but, . A little punctuation once in a while would make it better.

Good news.

After the criminal trial is over, you are allowed to post the link of the verdict w the full names of the parties involved.

We will be awaiting.

I'm curious how what he did with the bike AFTER the theft and recovery affects any kind of criminal trial that deals with it being stolen to begin with?

If he sells the bike after, then the thieves go free or there is no criminal trial?

Has nothing to do with the trial after it is returned to the owner, the crime was already comitted and charges filed

Criminal trial deals w the act. If a vehicle isnt recovered but only pieces, civil trial would reward the remainder etc and deal w the bike situation.

Criminal trial is for the the act, not recovery. So there should be one. Speak w the Theft/recovery reporting officer for the trial information.

We are awaiting a few others to go through before releasing names of pending (possibly) convicted thieves that frequent these forums. And when that happens, maybe their affiliated riding friends will have some reprocussions but that's not our intentions. Simple public awareness. If the close friends havent been convicted or names leaked, it would be on public record.

So they were members on here and their thief buddies are on here, too?

sad thing is, when it comes to the criminal trial, thats where things get f'd up. Hopefully they gave a confession, cause basically its all down to proof... prove it was those asshats that stole it...prove that those asshats knew it was stole etc. Thats the suck part of my job, watching scum walk, or get reduced sentences because the procecution wants an open/shut case rather than work a little harder for a higher charge. Good luck and hopefully you get one of those gem of a prosecutor that makes an example out of them.

Well that not only sucks for this thread but for victims of bike theft in general. GSXR_911, whats the success rate of finding these guys guilty vs them getting away scot free?

lol @ this thread. Homie gets his bike stolen, from the Cullen area, at 8pm. Makes a thread... inside of 3 hours, New Era knows where his bike is and helps him get it back.

Cdill, i was thinking the exact same when i first read this. I've been reading up just to see how it all works out. Still hopeful for a positive outcome tho. Names of the guilty would put any doubt to rest, i guess.
