The "Ultimate Excitement Ride" part 2 re-do...Sat. 2/18...9 am..Buc-ees in Waller...

Due to some unforseen delays in last saturdays ride i feel i didnt offer the ultimate experience as advertised...lol
We can re-do the entire ride and actually finish the other half that we missed or just ride the half that was missed...whatever the group decides is fine.
Ride will start at the Buc-ees in Waller at Hwy 290 and FM 362 at 9 am SHARP.
We WILL NOT wait longer than 5 minutes after 9...if you know your going to be late just catch us next time please.
Make sure you check Hwy 290 traffic and allow yourself more time because of it.
Please fuel up before we leave meaning get there early enough to get fuel instead of showing up at 9 and then say you need fuel. Im not trying to be a pain in the but last sat. we had 19 people waiting for 45 minutes extra due to some being late.
All skill levels are welcome...
Anyone having additional questions are welcome to call or text me at 979-251-6249
The ride went great last sat. with 21 riders so dont worry if you see a large turnout.
We have a short meeting to go over some general rules to help the ride go safely. We look forward to seeing you...Keith

Weather permitting i would be happy to do the same ride on Sunday for those who cant make sat. Please post here if your going to ride either day so i can get a count for lunch. I have to call Orsaks and tell them when we will be there.

lol I'm down for Sunday IF you decide to ksu in Waller at a ligit time for us "normal" human beings of say 11 am- noon. You guys are crazy to wake up that early on your days off and since me and W.O.T. seem to be the only "normal" people around it will probably be a MUCH nicer ride with only 3-4 riders but I'm actually the "crazy" one so... lol

Lets define "normal"...21 riders show up at 9 to ride and you 2 dont...
I get up at 1:50 am during the week to go to work...i can sleep till 7:30 on sat. and still make the ride...im 55 years old...your how old?...lol
I can make the start time later on Sunday if others want to also...the main post is for sat. anyway...watch the thread and see what others say...i normally start from my house on Sun. but since its so far for most to ride there i will start in Waller if there is enough interest...

lol I know I just like messing with you! 😁 Ya waking up at 5:30 am m-f means I'm sleeping til 10 am sat & sun. Besides those rides with more than 3-5 people are by no means enjoyable for me but I guess that just means I need to ride to your house. There seems to be less people willing to ride halfway to Austin. lol I'll keep my eye on the thread and will shoot for Sunday if there's enough interest to make you come down to Waller.

I knew you were...ive been an early bird all my life...a late sleep in for me is 6 am...lol
Ive had a few others mention starting later also...Sun. ride can be changed to whatever suits the ones interested...i prefer to just ride to Waller once but i dont mind twice if we have enough joining us...believe it or not the larger groups we have had have done great...everyone finds there proper spot in line and it seems like all can ride the pace there comfortable at...ive been impressed with how well it goes with bigger groups...

My problem is this: To be at the ride at 9am I'd have to be out of here by 730. For a night checker that's like asking for...Uh...The impossible. lol. And I've tried going to bed earlier to be up earlier, my body currently is just like 'It ain't ten yet.' xD

Apologies old military term, I guess the proper civilian term for it would be second or third shift. Basically, the hours from 6 pm to 6 am sometimes later like 8 pm to 8 am.

Sunday might work, depends on if my dad wants to play golf or not. it's usually either once a week or every other week.

I like this idea!! I can convince her to let me get one for her...then wait for her to tell me it's too much bike for her...then I will have two
