636 question about head shake...

cruisin along at anything above 65 and i take my hands of the bars and i get a good amount of head shake. If i have my hands on the bars I cant realy feel any vibration on decell. Going to have my front tire balanced tomorrow.
Might take it up to patrick tomorrow or friday. any ideas or suggestions??? I need to get this sorted out by SAT.
thanks
Jeremy

Patrick will hook you up. Likely it's a balance issue. Don't sweat it.

If it were brakes, you'd notice that. Tire pressure can mimic that too, so check that fo sho.

potassium? tire pressure? your forks, check your nuts and bolts, the only time ive ever had a bad shake is when ive been low on air, how about a steering dampner? does that bike come with one? if so you can usually see if its bent

if the wheel balance doesn't fix it, you might want to look into the headbearings.

yea but alot more noticable when your hands arent on the bar. besides an unbalanced wheel will shake at all speeds

head bearings you would feel movement everytime you hit the brakes and he didnt complain about that

if the wheel isnt balanaced it will hop, not shake..
its prob tire... or tire pressure or something along those lines of bearings or something.
