Sorry to hear about this. I'm glad you got it back, but the battle has only begun. Good luck, bro. If you need anything, you know I'm another one you can count on.

Thanks everyone. Its such a beautiful day too! Grrrrr

I hadn't heard back from them yet, which pretty much solidifies their response to all this. I work tomorrow but will make some quick calls when I can get away and hopefully make sure they understand how unhappy I am.

I was 1/2 tempted to call back and pretend to be you, but didn't want to get you in trouble. Privacy laws, pfft.

Glad to hear you got the bike back.

Again this is a situation were a Lo-Jack system would be helpful.
Remeber it signals you if your bike is moved.

Many of us were ready to contribute cash $ 100 or more to help.

So I am going to mention this again.
Lets say a Lo-Jack installed and warrantied is $ 1000 (This is correct)

We all like to ride and meet at parties. (This is Correct)

We could have a for lack of name a Lo-Jack party where we raffle off a Lo-Jack installed maybe a coupon from Patriks Motorcycles Unlimited.
Whatever this is NOT a for profit idea.

Suggestion is it be limited to 20 tickets at $50 each = $ 1000

You have a 1 in 20 chance to win the Lo-Jack with one $ 50 ticket.

Hey the more Lo-Jacks out there the better for all of us.

Well it just an Idea.

hey if we do 40 tickets and sell them all we could finance putting a lojack on Cali's bike. Not that he would accept so someone would have to distract him while Patrick installs it.

If I understand the 40 at $ 50 concept it woud cover two Lo-Jacks and we would donate one to Cali , sure why not.

My basic thought was if Partrick at Motorcycles Unlimited would write up a coupon for $ 1000 specifically for a low jack, one of us or whatever would give Patrick the $1000for the coupon then we could raffle it off .

I do not know Patrick but from what I read on this site he seems to be part of the MH group and there is no risk to him, since he is paid up front, maybe he would.

How do we find out if there is any interest in this?

Just need to fond out if there is any intrest in this or not.

Ya thanks guys on the offers but it is my property Im responsible for so I'll deal with it.

As for the towing company, I've been talking alot w someone else on the board that assists a different company so I dont get pushed aside etc. Im going to try to recall them today between work jobs but likely need to pursue this further on Monday.

Well Im working Saturday but attempted to call them and they dont take calls on the weekend.

So I guess I will take pics from where they left the bike, take video to demonstrate the damages to the steering lock, then go ride as I normally do. Its my transportation on the weekend.
