Why didn't you like the TV coverage? Fox did a great job. Now I know what "Leathers" are, also that some Nascar hot shots like motorcycle races, plus I know at what time the redsox will play tonight.

I mean what is not to like?

I just used it for the bigger picture and watched/ listened to the computer during commercials I saw all the silliness of which you speak, and then I glanced back over to the computer screen and all my anger was quelled...

Not to mention I didn't have to listen to RAAALPH Afrosheen mis-pronounce everyone's name, and Scott Russell start EVERY SINGLE COMMENT with "yeah, I mean..."

Dude, when you posted these the race was long over

The only train Pedrosa ran was making his way up through the box cars from 16th running 1:40's most of the time after his crash...

Lorenzo rocks, I hate to say it but I think Colin is done, he was in the states, with Dani and Rossi down and could not pull off a podium, too sad

There were plenty of changes back in the field, Hayden made a pretty good showing ending up in 3rd.

It was Lorenzo, DeAngelis, Hayden in the end.

Pedrosa qualified at 1:39.6 which is 1.1 seconds faster than Rossi did last year.

Even after the crash Pedrosa was able to turn 1:40.xx

Why do you think Edwards is done? He is 5th in the Championship standings. Accomplishing that on a satelite team is a big accomplishment IMO.

Stoked for Hayden. First time on the podium with the Duc!! I can't believe Pedrosa actually managed to pick up some points... and OMG the announcer is an idiot. My 10 yr old son, "wouldn't the people watching motorcycle racing already know what a puck is?" ...Yes son, BUT who knew they were made out of plastic!!!

Horrible commentating......as usual from FOX. Scott Russell is a great rider.......but Sloth from the Goonies could have called a better race
goonies.

Horrible coverage as well.

Decent race though. I hated to see Rossi go down. But...... happens. At least it didn't rain.

During the pre-race interview on the grid with BBC, Toseland mentioned the fact that if Spies is brought up to Tech Twa it would be problematic to have two Americans on the same team. Why is this? Does MotoGP try to keep it mixed up?

I was was wondering the same thing? Toesland also told the lady that he has'nt been given a pen just yet for his own contract. I was equally puzzled when the same lady then interivewed Colin on the grid and asked to respond about keeping his ride and he nicley brushed her off.

I would like to see them can Toeslands a$$ for thinking he's still the after getting it handed to him every race by Edwards, even after the crew chief swap thing. That;s the only anoying thing about watching on the BBC is the comentators are constiently pulling on this Toesland guys chain almost as much as he does himself.

For Colin, he's a solid finisher and consistent but I was thiking though that he should do some sprint races to get the fire back. He almost seems to be runing an enduracne race, relativly speaking of course.

Edwards is going as fast as he can go for his skill and equipment; which is actually a brilliant performance. Especially when compared to the other "privateers". Toseland knows his days are numbered and he knows well why he has no "pen" for a contract. , they may boot his this year instead of next the way he's been performing!

Despite what American fans may think about him, Toseland is very popular world-wide for the most part. I'm sure the Brits complain too about how much time we give to Hayden on camera and interviews.

There is no doubt Spies will get a ride, the only question is where. I think the logical choice would be for Yamaha to give him a ride since he's "in the family" as it were; but we've seen LOTS of examples of folks changing machinery when they come to the big boys. I was shocked at Vermeulen's change! I still think that was his biggest mistake and he would probably still have a ride if he would have waited for a Honda spot to open up.

Time will tell. Edwards, without actually saying the words, said so much as he's inked for next season and possibly another after it. I think that's a fore-gone conclusion. Absolutely brilliant performances by him for the entire year especially by comarison. How many factory bikes does he beat in every single race? For the majority of the season he's consistently top 5.
