I do agree, I have already admitted that it was not smart to jump through the turn.

But, he did obey the speed limit and took the turn at his own pace.

I thought the answer to your question/commentary have already been addressed...thus either you missd reading it, or decided to disregard it.

...in regards to the others, it seems you found your own answer. If someone in a group, rides beyond their ability and wrecks it would imply the 'pace' was aboe and beyond that of the rider in question. Does that absolve the rider of action/failure... no, but it implies there were issues that led led to the situation.

Seems alot was learned from this experience for some on here...

That's what's nice about these forums, we learn alot from other's experiences.

Yes we do ride our own rides, but people will always try to keep up with a group so some discipline by the leader needs to be proportioned to assure that people don't ride outside their limit. You aren't sacrificing your own personal ride for others, when in a group its about the uniform and safety of the group.

As for him going for his own ride and that being a reason to take him out there... That's his own discretion. You can provide teaching and tools but its up to them to use them right.

Hey..

I think that your friend didnt have enough experience to know what his *pace* even is .... A noob mistake for sure... Glad he will get another chance to learn his pace.. And not a casket

Good luck

Feedback is a gift, even if it's not what the recipient wanted to hear. There's a learning opportunity for both rider and leader here.

One does not have to have been at fault to learn that they could have done things differently to affect a better outcome.

Haha Ryan, I'm blaming you. It's all your fault, you ruined the kid's life. 10 lashings and a day in the pit of fire. That'll teach you to take a newb to the forest. What were you thinking? You're such a terrible person.

It astouds me as to the audacity of your relentless pursuit of vasodialation.
